More Than Just TequilaAll Work
Sales Agent Alec Feltman was watching a golf tournament on television when he noticed Abraham Ancer, one of the top 30 golfers in the world, wearing a hat with Flecha Azul embroidered on it. After a quick Google search, Feltman sent the company a message on Instagram when he realized that the headquarters is located 5 minutes away. Within 20 minutes, Feltman had made a great connection and scheduled a meeting with the company owners to talk about a potential partnership with Stephen Gould.
We started by creating several marketing pieces and simple giveaway items. Flecha Azul was centered around the golf industry but needed some help creating more marketing and promotional items to get the word out about their tequila. Starting with branded tents, printed collateral, informational cards, shirts, and rubber bracelets, Stephen Gould helped the brand progress quickly in their marketing efforts. From there, we created several hundred influencer sales kits: rigid boxes featuring magnetic closures, custom artwork, and a spot UV finish interior that serve to showcase either 3 or 5 bottles of Flecha Azul Tequila. A truly attention grabbing experience, the boxes were sent to some of the most famous people on the planet. Top golfers, actors on The Bachelor, and even Mark Wahlberg received one — many posted about them on social media.
The Stephen Gould team provided a fully turnkey product for Flecha Azul. From designing and building the custom boxes, fulfilling them, creating a custom shipper, and then delivering it to the client, we owned the entire process and made everything incredibly easy for the customer. The relationship grew quickly from there. Having gone above and beyond in the creation and production of the influencer boxes, Flecha Azul brought us on as a partner to work on their main product line. Today Stephen Gould produces all of the company’s custom corks, labels, cartons, shipper cases, magnetic cases for high end bottles, and more — virtually touching everything except for producing the tequila itself.
This project and client relationship is also a stellar example of a collaborative, international team. Feltman works closely with the Stephen Gould Mexico office to support this client. Leo, Paola, Yadira, and the rest of the Mexico team are vital partners to Feltman. By handling shipping through customs and working alongside Feltman and the tequila producer at Flecha Azul’s Guadalajara facility, the Mexico team is an integral part of this successful client relationship.
This is merely the start of an ongoing successful and collaborative relationship. As we continue to prove ourselves as a creative thought partner to Flecha Azul, we look forward to continuing to see our work out in the world, in the hands of top athletes and cultural leaders alike.
