With Kama Best and Bob Challinor at the helm for Stephen Gould, the hydration system underwent a significant transformation, evolving into a versatile and modular solution including features like stackable reservoirs, a user-friendly zipper, and precise dial disengagement, all meticulously designed for an optimal user experience. On a pivotal trip to China, our on-the-ground presence enabled real-time problem-solving, idea exchange, and continuous design improvements throughout the product’s development, and met rigorous quality standards for the system’s liquid components and vacuum seals. It was during this trip that Drew and Nicolas realized their vision become a reality, as they witnessed the first ultrasonic welds, marking a turning point in the product’s development.
