Stephen Gould’s relationship with Homage started in 2008, when Jimi Marshall based in our Columbus office, first connected with founder as the brand was getting off the ground. At the time, Homage was built around a simple but compelling idea: reintroducing vintage sports graphics through thoughtfully designed apparel.

Early support focused on packaging, including corrugated solutions and custom hang tags that reinforced the brand’s worn-in, nostalgic aesthetic.

The Challange

As the business grew, so did the relationships. Homage continued to scale its production network, balancing consistency, flexibility, and speed without disrupting established workflows. As production scaled, maintaining brand consistency became increasingly important; each design requiring precise color matching, detailed artwork separation, and repeatable print quality across multiple runs and garment types.

The Solution

Building on our established relationship, the Columbus team implemented a dedicated in-house screen-printing program aligned to Homage’s workflow. This integrated approach allows Stephen Gould to manage the full production process, from artwork preparation through final shipment.

Designs are received as layered files and prepared through artwork separation and precise color matching before moving into production. Garments are printed on automatic presses with controlled curing to ensure consistency and durability, then move through finishing, packing, and distribution, a streamlined workflow built to meet Homage’s volume and velocity without compromising print quality.

By deepening its role from vendor to full production partner, Stephen Gould created a more connected and efficient system for Homage one that reduces turnaround times and ensures consistent quality across every order. The result is a long-standing program that continues to support Homage’s growth, delivering reliable apparel production while maintaining the brand’s signature look and feel.
